Did Gary Payton own Oasis?

  • Oasis was built for NBA star Gary Payton and was named (“the Glove’), Payton’s nickname. He was the Seattle SuperSonics point guard for 13-years. Gary holds Seattle franchise records in points, assists, and steals and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.[1]

    Payton is widely considered one of the greatest point guards of all time. He is the only point guard to win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team nine times, an NBA record he shares with Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett, and Kobe Bryant. He was also a nine-time NBA All-Star and a nine-time All-NBA Team member.

What is the capacity limit for a charter?

Excluding the captain and crew, the Oasis can accommodate 12 guests for a daytime charter, and 6 guests comfortably for overnight charters.

Can I bring my pet?

For safety reasons, the Oasis does not allow pets on board.

Can I get picked up at a different location?

Yes, the Oasis can pick you up at the location of your choosing. If the pick-up is outside Lake Union or Lake Washington, a relocation charge may be added to your bill. Where should we go on a cruise?

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

  • We suggest using our concierge to organize your food and beverage needs in order to provide the best experience for the duration of your charter, but you can also bring your own.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Should the CHARTERER cancel 30 days or more before the charter term begins, deposits will be refunded for any conditions. Within 30 days of the charter, a refund will only be granted due to weather or harsh conditions and shall be canceled at the captain’s suggestion.
